Comparison deceptively leads us to believe it can alleviate our pain by justifying our experience or downplaying it all together. But whichever way you spin it, it does little to aid the grieving process. The longer I've walked the journey of miscarriage grief, the more I've realized pregnancy loss gets compared quite often and in many ways—at least six to be exact. I've had to lean into Jesus a good bit in these hard comparison moments, but in doing so, He's been so kind to show me a few ways to overcome the comparison trap and entrust Him with my grieving journey.
